We had an absolute blast a couple of weekends ago in Nashville. It’s so close to Louisville, only two and a half hours away. Every time we go, we wonder why we don’t travel there more often! It’s quickly becoming a top destination – and it’s easy to see why!
Normally when we go to Nashville, we stick to Broadway. However, I did a little research this time because I was ready to check out more of what Nashville has to offer! We spent a lot of time exploring the Gulch, eating at Whiskey Kitchen and stopping by L.A. Jackson for a drink. Saturday morning we planned to have breakfast at Biscuit Love, but when we drove by at 9am there were at least 50 people waiting in line. We kept on driving. It turned into good fortune though, because we ended up discovering my favorite restaurant of the entire trip, Pinewood Social. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was wonderful. There was even a bowling alley inside!
I love dressing for the place I’m visiting, and Nashville was no exception. I always feel so clever when I take an item I own and repurpose it. This is my favorite scarf (this one is really similar), that I decided to wear as a shawl that weekend (I know – so genius and out of the box haha). I paired it with a classic white shirt, some distressed denim and booties for a country vibe! I fit right in.
I also tried my hand at vlogging while I was there. I have a lot to learn when it comes to vlogging, but it’s something I want to keep doing! You can check out more of our adventures here!
