In the winter, it’s all about hydration, hydration, hydration and that’s why having a good winter skin care routine is important. Every night I try to give my skin as most moisture as I possibly can, so I wake up looking refreshed and glowing. At the same time, I’m always fighting breakouts and aging. It takes a village to keep my skin looking good.

Luckily, I’ve perfected my nightly routine. Every night, I start by washing my face with the Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser. It’s inexpensive and gets the job done, two things I love in a cleanser.

I alternate between my Korres Advanced Brightening Sleeping Facial and the Dr. Brandt 2% Retinol Complex every other evening. They’re both important to keep skin looking healthy and young.

I lock everything into place with the Kiehl’s Rosa Arctica Lightweight Moisturizer, which is the best moisturizer I’ve ever used. Then, I add a touch of the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate on top, to brighten and hydrate my skin while I’m sleeping.

Brightening Sheet Mask from Target GlamGlow Supermud Clarifying Mask

Twice a week, I give myself the spa treatment with a quick at-home-facial. I’ll use my Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasian face wash to slough off all that dead, dry winter skin. This stuff is seriously amazing and will make your skin feel brand new. Then I’ll use a charcoal mask to remove impurities. Right now I’m addicted to this GlamGlow Supermud mask. Finally, I’ll use a hydrating or brightening sheet mask to replenish my skin.

Like I said, it takes a village, but it’s all worth it to keep my skin clean, bright, and glowing all winter long! Let me know what your winter skin care routine is in the comments below!
